Beginning Lindy Hop Meets Tuesday nights from 6-7 at The Olympia Eagles Ballroom This dance was also known as Jitterbug and was all the rage in the 1930;3 and 40’s. Students will start with the basics and work their way up to beginning moves. No partner needed. All ages welcome.

In Lindy Hop 2 we will continue to improve basics as we add more moves and style to your dance bag of tricks. We will also show you how to string simple moves together to create combinations you can use on the dance floor. It’s about transitions, how to lead em and how to recognize em.

This Year’s OlySwing Jam is March 27th. Our guest teachers are Brenda Russel and Jonathan Janis from Portland and Washington DC. There will be workshops durring the day and social dancing at night. For our evening dance we are pleased to bring back The Jessica Blinn Quartet. More information about this event will be available shortly.
