Welcome to OlyBlues Dance. Our mission is to get a blues scene going here in Olympia.  At this point in time we are meeting on Thursday nights at 9pm on the 3rd floor of the Olympia Eagles Club, (just upstairs from the ballroom).  Admission is $5.  It includes a 20 minute lesson from 9-9:20pm. David Accurso and Christine Corey are the dynamic duo of the Olympia WA blues community. With the encouragement of a handful of dancers they started OlyBlues Dance in the back of their friend’s restaurant in January 2010. It is still going strong has helped create a solid blues scene in Olympia. Together, they teach dance, dj, and perform live music for dancers with their band The Lost Keys.  This versatility has deepened their connection with all of the work they do in their dance community.

Christine has been teaching and djing vintage and social partner dancing for over ten years and is continuously exploring new technique and styles. A serious student of music and dance, David incorporates his of years playing music and radio djing in his passion for blues dance.  Christine and David’s collaboration is built on a fundamental love of dance, positive body expression, and music.  Their combined decades of experience and dynamic partnership are a valuable asset to their dance community. They create a very fun blues party every Thursday, come to Olympia Eagles and enjoy for yourself!
